Founded in 2009, BDI is a respected non-profit advancing meaningful dialogue and education to foster a deeper understanding of our diverse communities in Southwest Florida. Through nationally recognized speakers and impactful programming, BDI has built strong credibility, loyal supporters, and significant momentum.

BDI is now entering its next phase of growth and seeks a dynamic Executive Director to lead the organization forward.
About the Role
The Executive Director provides overall leadership for BDI, overseeing strategy, visibility, and operations. Working closely with an engaged Board of Directors, this role combines public-facing representation with hands-on execution and offers the opportunity to shape the future of a proven organization.
While this is currently the organization’s sole full-time position, the Executive Director works in close partnership with the Board and leverages consultants, contractors, and volunteers to achieve BDI’s goals.
