About Will
Wilderley "Will" Mauricette is a filmmaker born in Haiti and raised in the Sarasota-Bradenton area. After discovering his passion for the arts under the mentorship of Nate Jacobs at the Westcoast Black Theatre Troupe, Will founded his production company, Mauricette Pictures, in 2016.
A recent BFA graduate in Film from Ringling College, he wrote, produced, and directed his first feature, "Monopoly Money: The Movie" in 2021, and his work has been showcased at prestigious festivals like the Martha's Vineyard African American Film Festival.
His films draw on his Haitian heritage, African diaspora roots, and diverse life experiences to tell authentic, thought-provoking stories.
